Basic Travel Requirements for Filipinos visiting South Korea

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a South Korean Visa.


  • A copy of a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the trip to Korea.
  • A copy of the passport bio page which shows the photo and passport details.
  • Two passport-sized (35mm x 45mm) photographs.
  • A completed South Korean visa application form
  • If invited by a South Korean national, you must also provide an invitation letter and photocopy of your inviter’s passport or ID card.
  • Original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last three (3) months.
  • Photocopy of income tax return (ITR Form 2316).
  • Original personal bank certificate. It must include account type, current balance, account opening date, and 6 months average balance.
  • Medical insurance is required.
